In Larimer County, foreclosure filings fell by 40.5 percent from 306 to 182 from first-quarter 2012 to the same period in 2013. Foreclosure sales also dropped, by 27.2 percent from 169 to 123. The vacancy rate in the Fort Collins-Loveland area rose to 5.1 percent during 2013's first quarter, rising from 2012's first-quarter rate of 3.0 percent, according to the Colorado Division of Housing.
