What do you get when you mix beanbags, wooden boards with holes in one end, and fabulous food and drink, all on a sunny summer afternoon? You get the Awesome Toss ‘Em Cornhole Festival! At this event on Saturday, September 23, more than 100 two-person teams battle it out for supremacy over the game that requires no skill whatsoever. The winning team earns beer for a year from Odell Brewing Company. Proceeds benefit Turning Point’s mission to help youth and families struggling with behavior, mental health or substance abuse issues.

Pastels on 5th is a community-wide festival in which artists, businesses, and downtown Loveland come together to transform 5th Street into a spectacular sidewalk gallery. This is a free, family-friendly sidewalk chalk art event designed to highlight the thriving Loveland arts community.
The focal point of the festival is the artwork created right on the sidewalk by local and regional artists using brightly colored pastels. Each year, we have judges selecting their favorite works of art in our juried awards that include cash prizes for the winning artists. Additionally, community members get to participate by voting for their favorite works of art in our People’s Choice awards. Every year, we have professional, amateur, and student artists join us for this creative and fun day.
Pastels on 5th includes live music, food, an Artist Marketplace, and a children’s art area where kids can create their own sidewalk masterpieces!

Loveland Oktoberfest ~ Loveland

Loveland Oktoberfest returns to Grimm Brothers Brewhouse this September 15th and 16th with Northern Colorado’s most authentic Oktoberfest experience. We’re looking to make Loveland Oktoberfest a unique experience for all ages with authentic German Polka Bands Neue Polka Colorado, and Polka Folka as well as DJ KAAOS who will throw a spin on some songs most people will be surprised to find have German heritage behind them. The DJ format with tents and long tables will mirror the way Oktoberfest actually happens in Munich, with pretzels from Styria Bakery and German pastries from European Sweet Treats alongside our lone caterer who will provide an array of authentic German cuisine for the entire festival you’ll feel as though you’re in Germany.
Several bier stations will be set up to minimize lines, including “The Baron Berliner Bar” that will feature our traditional German Berlinerweisse, The Baron, with multiple flavored syrups for people to create their own berliner experience. Beer from all the Loveland craft breweries; including Verboten, Loveland Aleworks, Crow Hop, Big Beaver, Buckhorn Brewers, Big Thompson, will be alongside Grimm Brothers with the addition of our friends Wibby Brewing out of Longmont CO.
In addition to the German style beer, be prepared to wear your dirndl and lederhosen for the best-dressed contest at 2:00 on Saturday, and hold those steins high for the stein-hoisting contest at 5:00. CSU German Club will be around to talk about German heritage and what Oktoberfest is all about. Hammerschlagen tournament will take place on Saturday giving patrons a chance to play everyone’s favorite German drinking game with the chance to win beer for a year to the champion.
“There will be something for everyone at Loveland Oktoberfest this year, with live music, food, games for kids and adults alike,” said Aaron Heaton of Grimm Brothers. “We’ve even got a face painting booth for the little ones, so bring the whole family”.
Loveland Oktoberfest will be celebrated on Friday, September 15th from 4:00 – 9:00 PM and Saturday, September 16th from 12:00 – 9:00 PM at 623 Denver Ave. Loveland, CO 80537. The event is free to attend and all ages are welcome.

Discover what it takes to make award-winning brews with a tasty trip to view Greeley’s local craft breweries on the Brews Cruise tour! Greeley’s Breweries are featured in the 2017 Greeley Unexpected campaign.
This tour will feature breweries and establishments on the East side of Greeley. Thanks to a community of entrepreneurial brew masters have taken root in Greeley creating a destination for those who can’t resist trying something new. No matter where you are in Greeley you’re not far from a flight of homegrown brews. Using local agricultural products to create their signature beers and with collaboration between local brewers, Greeley is seeing success putting the city on the map for beer lovers.
Forty-two craft breweries opened in Colorado in 2016, bringing the state’s total past 300. That’s 10 percent of all craft breweries in the United States – in a state that holds only two percent of the country’s population.
A G. Town Tour is a free and fun event to acquaint residents and visitors with interesting aspects of the city that they might not otherwise know much about.

The festivities kick off Saturday with a town BBQ, concert and “street dance” held at Boardwalk Park. The evening culminates with fireworks over Windsor Lake. Sunday moves the festivities to Main Park where you will find over 200 booths including arts and crafts, commercial and food vendors. Monday starts marching with the Harvest Festival Parade at 9:00am. It is the LARGEST parade in Northern Colorado with over 100 entries ranging from marching bands to “Haunt Rods”, rodeo queens to massive Radio Flyer wagons. The Windsor Harvest Festival sees an estimated 40,000+ patrons at events held over the Labor Day weekend, and we hope to see you there this year!

Aspens are turning a golden hue. Elk bugles can be heard reverberating throughout the valley. It’s a perfect season for one of Estes Park’s late-autumn traditions when a series of bands herald Autumn Gold – a Festival of Bands, Brats & Beer!
Entrance is free to dance, listen to music and enjoy the festival. The Estes Valley Sunrise Rotary will be offering mustard-smothered bratwursts, cold brews, soft drinks and more as talented local musicians and award-winning Colorado band play. Browse the vendor booths who will be offering corn on the cob, funnel cakes, fresh squeezed lemonade, roasted almonds and desserts.
Bring the kids! Free family activities include face painting, corn bag toss, a bounce house and a classic car show.
The highlight of the Autumn Gold Festival is the popular raffle with the winner taking home the grand prize of $5,000. Additional prizes include a $2,500 runner-up prize and various other cash awards. Raffle tickets are $25 each.
